During the laser cutting of sheet metal, spatter and slag often adhere to both the top side (as the beam penetrates the material) and the bottom side (due to reflection from below) as well as the supports. Using LASER CUT ANTISPATTER FLUID effectively prevents the adherence of spatter and slag, leading to significant improvements such as increased process safety at the start of cutting, as the ring of slag does not stick to the penetration point. This maintains the surface quality of the sheet metal, eliminating the need for rework, particularly important when cutting stainless steel where the bottom side requires protection. It also protects the supports, reducing potential cleaning costs and increasing the service life of the bars.

An increased amount of adhering spatter and slag develops in 3D laser cutting. During pipe laser cutting, it is crucial to protect the inside of the pipe against blown-out adhering slag, especially for pipes intended to carry liquids, in areas relevant to assembly and functionality, as well as for any visible areas of the pipes. Simply apply LASER CUT ANTISPATTER FLUID before cutting to keep the surface clean without any unwanted side effects.

The goal of laser engraving is to create very fine structures that must remain uncontaminated by spatter. In scenarios like pressurized cylinder production or creating templates for rotary machine printing, adhering spatter and slag must be avoided from the start. LASER CUT ANTISPATTER FLUID significantly contributes to achieving perfect laser engraving results.

Metal welding processes are crucial in many sectors, especially the automotive industry. Laser welding, an advanced method, is increasingly used in automotive component manufacturing and assembly. Achieving a spatter-free surface on components and bodywork is essential, such as the "body in white" going to coating without needing grinding or rework to maintain optimal quality.

During various welding processes like spot welding, laser welding, and MIG/MAG welding, hot metal spatter can damage zinc-plated sheet metal surfaces, adversely affecting quality and corrosion protection. LASER CUT ANTISPATTER FLUID provides surface protection, enhancing quality and eliminating the need for rework post-welding, thereby maintaining the integrity of the zinc layer and eliminating unproductive cleaning tasks. This fluid ensures total process safety from welding through to cataphoresis/coating, and is also effective for laser welding on aluminum sheets.

In automotive bodywork, LASER CUT ANTISPATTER FLUID is primarily used to protect doors and body side parts during laser and resistance welding processes. The fluid's advantages include easy application and strong protection, even on complex structures. It can be applied manually or automatically up to three weeks before welding, ensuring reliable metal surface protection without affecting other processes.

For automotive suppliers, LASER CUT ANTISPATTER FLUID significantly reduces costs and boosts quality in the production of various components such as axles, shock absorbers, and powertrain parts. It helps protect these components from metal spatter, enhancing corrosion protection and surface quality.  The fluid also extends the service life of jigs and fixtures in welding settings, like in axle and gear part production, reducing cleaning costs and service intervals, thereby saving costs.

In heavier manufacturing like truck, train, and bus production, LASER CUT ANTISPATTER FLUID plays a crucial role in ensuring process safety and corrosion protection, essential under increasing cost pressures. It has proven effective in protecting vehicle bodies and manufacturing equipment, supporting optimal weld quality and coating finishes. LASER CUT ANTISPATTER FLUID has been tested and approved for all welding and coating processes, ensuring it does not compromise surface quality or safety. Its non-flammable, biodegradable nature, coupled with an integrated degreasing effect, makes it ideal for pre-coating procedures.

In summary, LASER CUT ANTISPATTER FLUID offers optimal protection from metal spatter across various welding processes, significantly enhancing productivity and surface quality without undesirable side effects.

A quality finish significantly enhances the surface quality of welding wire, improving its processing characteristics. LASER CUT ANTISPATTER FLUID is designed for the cleaning and coating of welding wire and wire electrodes used in soldering processes (such as CuSi3, CuAl8). Manufacturers benefit from improved layering of coils, barrel coils, and reduced waste. This fluid offers effective temporary corrosion protection, preserving the wire’s surface quality until usage, including for bare wire.

During welding or soldering, it ensures optimal supply characteristics and perfect ignition, leading to maximum customer satisfaction. LASER CUT ANTISPATTER FLUID is suitable for direct application during the welding process. It cleans the welding wire just before entry, achieving optimal cleanliness and also acts as a contact lubricant. This reduces supply resistance, eases movement, and lowers wear levels. Improved contacts within the current nozzle prevent micro arcs.

The result is a stable arc with optimal ignition and minimized spatter. In orbital welding, which requires a high degree of process security, LASER CUT ANTISPATTER FLUID enhances the supply characteristics of wire electrodes, stabilizing the process and significantly increasing productivity. The fluid also creates a reduced and consistent friction value on the wire. Originally developed for welding wires, spring manufacturers have discovered that LASER CUT ANTISPATTER FLUID greatly enhances precision during spring coiling.
